Rhodia's patented product, Tolcide® PS75, was first introduced into the production subsea system industry during the 1980's as a water injection biocide for the control of sulphate reducing bacteria (SRB). From the arctic tundra to the Gulf Coast, from the North Sea to the deserts of the Middle East, oil exploration and production is about more than rigs, bits and pumps. It's about thousand-meter deep offshore deposits, horizontal drilling, and other complex challenges that require innovative technologies to produce affordable solutions for inland as production subsea system.
